The Kaitora Affiliate Manager is a plugin that searches through your posts and pages, and replaces your defines keywords with your affiliate links. All of the links will pass through your own blog, but not appear like regular affiliate links (e.g example.com/refer.php?referer=YOURID), but appear as variables within your URL.

The plugin is easily activated and deactivated using the inbuilt options (using the plugin managed to deactivate, will remove all your defined keywords and data related to this plugin). It’s as easy as uploading the plugin to your plugins directory, enabling it, and then adding your keywords and settings.

The pluging features it’s own admin area in which you can add, edit and delete your keywords. Within this, you can add your keyword, enter the URL you wish to redirect the keyword to, and set the frequency of how often the particular keyword is replaced.

There is also the ability to switch the keyword replacement features on and off, aswell as determining the maximum number of keywords that you wish to replace in total for each post.

The last main section of the admin section is a reporting function. This tells you how many times each keyword has been clicked, and allows you to reset the data at will.

The plugin can be disabled for specific posts and pages using a simple tag that can be inserted into the specific pages that you wish to disable the plugin functions on.

It is recommended that you do not replace any keywords that are contained within your URL. If you do intened to replace a keyword that is in your URL, ensure that it is the first keyword replaced (the first keyword your add to the system, or if you have already added the keywords, then change the id to 0 using phpmyadmin or similar software).
This plugin does not validate your URLs, and nor does it rewrite with pretty URLs. These are possible future updates.
